Conceived in collaboration with the Border Security Force, it is a national movement that unites fitness, environmental stewardship, border tourism, community participation, and national integration through the spirit of running. Built around the inspiring theme "Run for the Nation • Run to Save Wular Lake," the event seeks to create nationwide awareness for the conservation of Wular Lake, one of Asia's largest freshwater lakes, while showcasing the breathtaking beauty and tourism potential of Kashmir.
It's an endurance experience through the heart of Kashmir. Organised in collaboration with the Border Security Force, the event celebrates the courage and commitment of India's frontline guardians while inspiring a nationwide movement to Save Wular Lake bringing together fitness, environmental stewardship, border tourism, and national integration.

50 KM and 25 KM categories are open for 18 years and above. 10 KM is open for 14 years and above, and 5 KM is open for 10 years and above. 50 KM runners must have completed at least one full marathon within 2 years under 6 hours. 25 KM runners must have completed at least one timed race (10K or longer) within the last 2 years. Proof of timing certificate must be uploaded during registration wherever applicable.
A total prize pool of ₹26,40,000 (approx. ₹26.4 lakh) is up for grabs across the race categories.
Wular gives every kilometre a different setting with Kashmir’s breathtaking landscape, fresh mountain air, open roads and a sense of calm far from the usual race day noise. And with the Border Security Force behind the run, the experience becomes more than just another race.
